Budapest to install 1100 electric car filling stations by 2018

The Budapest general assembly has approved a contract to be concluded with the Ministry for National Development that would enable the City to build a network of charging stations for electric cars, reports daily online napi.hu.

The City will undertake to furnish locations for the charging stations and associated parking areas in cooperation with the 23 districts.

Budapest wishes to install 1100 charging stations by the end of 2018.  A detailed contract will be concluded once the details have been worked out, reports the online daily.
