The Democratic Coalition (DK) is preparing to launch its own publication, reports Hungarian news site hvg.hu. The official publisher is DÉKÁ Kft., a limited-liability company owned by the opposition party.
According to hvg.hu, the Democratic Coalition plans to launch a monthly or bi-monthly publication. Party executive László Sebián-Petrovszki confirmed this news when asked by hvg.hu, but gave no further information on who the editor-in-chief will be or whether the publication will be available online.
DÉKÁ Rendezvény Kft. was founded in 2012 and purchased by the party from founder András Tóth. DK uses the company to expand its own infrastructure and assist in helping monetize the party’s popularity. It has a webshop where supporters can buy DK magnets and books by party members such as József Debreczeni.
